[ They agreed to meet outside the Pollux, right? She better not had forgotten the name, there was no telling where else she'd end up. It took him forever to give the party an excuse to be alone for a while. Not to mention he'd just be felt standing outside here like a total bum. Which he was.
But that wasn't the point.
He looked up. The dark clouds covering the city were definitely not going to leave anytime soon. Jeez, it was going to be weird explaining to her that it was only raining inside the city...well, she was going to be swimming later anyway, wasn't like getting a little wet was going to be too bad for her. He closed his eyes, leaning against the wall next to the inn entrance. Any minute now.

So, get ready.

This was never something he did with friends.
Well, there was a first time for everything. ]
On your mark, then.
no subject
Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, she looks out to the water far too seriously.]
Next time, I won't count. We have to learn to do it anyway.
Three, two, one, go! [And she was running, her eyes sliding to the side to see if they matched up.]
no subject
[ He ran along side her, his eyes concentrating on the waves before him. He picked up speed, before jumping high into the water.
...His laughter could be heard. ]
Jeez, haven't done that in years.
no subject
Landing, she came back up, a slight smile on her face.]
Why did you do that?!
no subject
It looked like it'd be more fun that running in.
no subject
You should have warned me first! I could have jumped better!
no subject
Sure you could have. [ He looked up to the sky, before continuing. Stay closer to the shore. If you go too deep, you run the risk of attracting mermen. And my sword- [ He took a moment to point back to where her own bag was. ] Is way over there.
no subject
Eh?! There's monsters in the water too?!
no subject
Monsters are everywhere. I thought I said that. Besides, we'll be fine if we stay near the shore.
no subject
But she begins to swim around him a bit.]
What are the shells like here?
no subject
Uh...I don't know, really. I never paid attention. Probably just like yours, you know. Just like how this ocean isn't much different from yours, probably.
no subject
[She held up one finger and smiled before diving under. It shouldn't be that far down, this close to shore.]
no subject
Shells, huh?
He grabbed the first one that caught his eye, a simple, blue and white colored one, returning to the top of the water. ]
You got ones like this?
no subject
There's a frown on her face.]
I thought they would look different...
no subject
Oh, come on. Isn't the fact that they look the same kind of cool, though? [ He swam closer, handing her his. ]
Besides, they match your hair dec.
no subject
Reaching out, she takes the shell with a small grin. She could get it made into a bracelet or a necklace. With a small "hee hee" and starts to swim back to shore. They need to be put aside for save keeping.]
no subject
You aren't gonna keep swimming?
no subject

no subject
What do you wanna start with?
no subject
Fill the bucket should be fun...
no subject
no subject
You have to run to the line, fill your shovel, and make it back to your bucket. The first one to fill it up wins!
[Sure, there's no problems playing physical games with a guy who can kill monsters. None.]
