[ They agreed to meet outside the Pollux, right? She better not had forgotten the name, there was no telling where else she'd end up. It took him forever to give the party an excuse to be alone for a while. Not to mention he'd just be felt standing outside here like a total bum. Which he was.

But that wasn't the point.

He looked up. The dark clouds covering the city were definitely not going to leave anytime soon. Jeez, it was going to be weird explaining to her that it was only raining inside the city...well, she was going to be swimming later anyway, wasn't like getting a little wet was going to be too bad for her. He closed his eyes, leaning against the wall next to the inn entrance. Any minute now.

[She held up one finger and smiled before diving under. It shouldn't be that far down, this close to shore.]

[ Well, she did have a point. His eyes followed her as she went under the water, before he gave a small shrug, and did the same.

Shells, huh?

He grabbed the first one that caught his eye, a simple, blue and white colored one, returning to the top of the water. ]

You got ones like this?

[It takes her a few more seconds since the pool doesn't allow for a lot of diving but when she comes back up, it looks like she's holding one of the same color.

There's a frown on her face.]

I thought they would look different...

[ He looks between the two shells, before giving a small smile. ]

Oh, come on. Isn't the fact that they look the same kind of cool, though? [ He swam closer, handing her his. ]

Besides, they match your hair dec.

[She hadn't thought of that.

Reaching out, she takes the shell with a small grin. She could get it made into a bracelet or a necklace. With a small "hee hee" and starts to swim back to shore. They need to be put aside for save keeping.]

[ He watched her make her way to the shore, doing the same with a confused look on his face. ]

You aren't gonna keep swimming?

I'm going to put these up and get the stuff I brought. I look around on the computer for games to play at the beach and they had some really good ones!

...Games? [ He caught up to her. ] Like what?

A bucket for a castle or for 'Fill the Bucket' and a ball. You can play a lot of games with balls.

Yeah, I'm kinda aware of that. I didn't think you'd bring anything, though. [ Not that he was gonna complain. This was all so she could have fun, right? ]

What do you wanna start with?

[She takes the time to think as she gathers her stuff.]

Fill the bucket should be fun...

How do you play that?

[She puts down two buckets and hands him a shovel with a smile.]

You have to run to the line, fill your shovel, and make it back to your bucket. The first one to fill it up wins!

[Sure, there's no problems playing physical games with a guy who can kill monsters. None.]

Hmm. [ That sounded a little...easy. ]

You sure there isn't more to that? [ He took the shovel she handed to him. ] Sounds like it'd be a short game.

We didn't even make the line yet.

[That was all the site said... it would be the first time for her too.]

Hm. [ He looked out. ]

You decide where the line is. And I'll give you a ten second head start.

I don't need a head start! [She grins.] I'm fast!

[ Jeez, he's trying to be fair. ]

If you say so. Want me to go draw the line?

[She moved to stand in front of him and then turned around.] Take twenty steps and draw it.

Yes, your highness. [ He gave a small, absentminded wave, before he did as he was told, walking twenty steps, and making a line with a stick, before walking back. ]

On your count?

Wait.

[She's standing on her side, arms up, pinning her hair. That would make it easier to run.] Run up, grab your shovel, run back and dig!

[She looked up at him.] GO!

[And she was running!]

[ Jeez, no time to grab his shovel bucket! She already took off as he grabbed them. She was really intent on winning, huh?

Not that he was one to turn down a challenge. He took off, catching up to her easily. She might have been fast, but he was an ex-knight. ]

You sure you didn't want that headstart? [ He said as he passed her, landing on the line and starting to fill his shovel. ]

[She's so surprised that she scrambles and has to catch herself, eyes wide as she tries to run faster to catch up.]

W...wait!

[second_star]

[ He's already got his bucket full as she finally catches up. ] See you at the starting line!

[ He really should feel bad, but hey. He offered the handicap. He took back off towards the start. ]

[Desperation is kicking in and she doesn't even bother with the shovel. She attempts to scoop it straight to the bucket, using her hand to keep it from scooting too far.]
